School Leavers Destination

‘At TAS, we acknowledge the significance of providing children with a comprehensive education from an early stage, as it can significantly contribute to their future achievements. Consequently, it is understandable that parents consider the selection of the appropriate school as a significant and impactful decision. When engaging in the process of selecting a school, parents often find themselves evaluating the advantages and disadvantages associated with private schools and state schools.

I have been exactly in the same position with my three children and while state schools have lots of benefits, and a very good percentage of TAS children graduate to state schools and progress with amazing results in all areas of learning and development, I felt that, despite of the additional costs, private schools were the better option due to smaller size classes, extracurriculars, extra teaching staff, and a more adaptable curriculum. Consequently, this allowed greater opportunities for individual support and provided more resources to develop a child’s strengths.

As a new parent, I was inundated with all this information but had no idea where to begin, what decision to make, or how to support my children. However, after visiting many private and state schools, gathering a wealth of information, and having a great passion for teaching children, not only have I provided my own children with the right support and school choice, but I have also assisted many parents from TAS over the years and established a great relationship with most state and private schools.

Over the last few years, Tots and Scholars has been widely recognised amongst state and private schools for the great support and amazing achievements of the children who are graduating and transitioning to schools and I feel that this is a massive achievement and great feedback for our Early Years settings and myself as an individual.
